Is he abused?

The answer is no!!!! I do not abuse my kids. Sometimes they push my buttons but I would not do this.

He was stung by a wasp or yellow jacket. He was fine yesterday and this is how he woke up this morning. I ran him over to instacare and after about 5 minutes and a $25 copay the Dr. says he is just fine. A few days of prednasone and benadryl and he will be just fine.

This was on the way to the Dr. and he was trying so hard to open his eye. Notice how big the other one is.

Poor Eli! Wasn't he the one that got stung when he was a baby? Or was that Gabe? I can't remember, it goes by so fast. He looks funny trying to get that other eye open. Silly kid. I hope he gets better!

Oh Eli. I know this is a little late and may not work on an eye very well but for the next sting make a paste out of meat tenderizer and vingar and put it on the sting and let it dry. My mom, Maile, and Keilana got stung this summer and we used it on Keilana and you couoldn't tell the next day that she had been stung but it was a good week and before the swelling went down with my mom and Maile. Hope Eli feels better soon.

Hey Kelli! It is a very long story how I found your blog, let's just say google and my addiction to the internet :). You have been on my mind as I have reconnected with so many CHS friends lately via blogs and facebook (you should join). I thought you may have a blog.In fact, I had it on my mental list to call you this Monday (seriously). Glad I found your blog, you can see mine at barb-brad.blogspot.com and see links to some other people you may know. By the way my daughter had a black eye once, not from a wasp but because her brother threw a toy at her. I loved explaining that one. I will call you on Monday!

Ouch!! I'll bet he got a lot of attention for that one.

It's terrible how we must try to explain ourselves to doctors. I slammed Bailee's hand in the car door when she was three. Try telling that one to the pediatrician and not sounding like a child abuser. It was broken. I felt sooooo bad.

I am laughing so hard right now. I can see the moment. He was probably tormenting the crap out of that wasp. I love it. He is so dang cute!!!
